In appreciation to Hal Finney and ALS, Fran Finney (Hal's Wife) has created an event called 'Running Bitcoin' and it's a half marathon event that will take place between Jan 1st and 10th.

The goal is to get as many people as possible to run or walk a half marathon distance and to raise funds for ALS research through Bitcoin donations.
