Nice write up, and precisely the goal of BTC, we've endured for too long the setbacks of CBDCs, even though it was a Worthy starting point...

We probably can't stop CBDCs. We shouldn't do it. We may build free markets instead.

Good analysis. I am reminded of Romanian dictator Ceaușescu standing before the crowds thinking they love him, but in fact they are ready to overthrow him.
I wonder if most bureaucrats and central banks genuinely see CBDCs the same way: as granting speed, convenience, and benefits to the non-thinking consumer plebs who are crying out for it, not realising that most people in the public actually are totally against it and this is the last straw.
I for one have made a new year's resolution to use physical cash (as well as stacking Bitcoin of course) as much as possible. In my country cash is not common, but I withdraw it twice a week for using in all grocery and day-to-day payments.

Си крут... он очень грамотно отвернул голову внимания в эту сторону... $ останется только в США... и биткоина там не будет. 2032
