I'm interested in how many nodes the platform users are running. Is the community setting a good example?

If someone has more than one node running - why and for what reason? (e.g. are you running pruned/indexed/different versions/etc) If someone is running more than three: What are you building, what is the motivation behind this and what is your goal?

This is the 2022 edition. Maybe this poll can be repeated in the future to better understand and interpret the changes over time..

The only challenge is the funds... Definitely won't mind to, if it's gifted...

You don't need funds to run a bitcoin node

I really want to run a full unpruned node with an LN node on top. So far I haven't been sucessful :( But I am trying

Why hasn't it worked so far? What exactly are the stumbling blocks?

Running 1 but am looking to set up another specifically for lightning

Perfect. ⚡⚡⚡

1 full bitcoin node, and 1 lightning node.
Both for the funzies, approached as a hobby.

Great! Pruned node next, just to extend your collection? :-)

1 full node using umbrel (with lightning node). Trying to build out a nice little lightning node. Learning a lot as I go. Probably won't be making much in fees ( 0 so far) but it's just a hobby. Of course, the dream is Bitcoin takes off to new levels and I'd be there in the LN mix.

Wrong question.
You should ask WHY, what for, what are you doing with your node.
The quantity is not important, but the quality and use.

Sorry, my dark lord. I should have been more precise with my words in the text of the post.
