Never assume I know what I'm doing. I'm looking at it for a small house in a really sunny climate with full exposure. I really haven't gotten far.

Here in Brazil the government gives incentives to install solar panels at home, with very low interest rates. In addition, there are some companies that are emerging from solar panels, and if you join their network instead of the government's network, your electricity bill payment will go down a lot. You can try to find out there if there are some companies doing the same or if you have favorable bank loans on solar energy incentives.

Yes, I think there are federal incentives and local incentives where the house is.
