It is somewhat surreal. Especially now that lightning is getting a little more love. But hopping around apps or websites, signing in with a lightning wallet and sending a few micro payments to others or streaming some sats for listening to an ad or podcast and instantly withdrawing to a wallet is really satisfying.

Hell I even found a stupid solitaire game and the difference between stacking some third party "currency" to redeem 5 cents on a coinbase account and and not be able to withdraw it until you stack more. Or waiting until you've got a couple bucks stacked and lose half in a fee, versus playing a few solitaire games and instant withdrawing the 5, 7, or 50 sats I get to my own lightning wallet is still blowing my mind.
