Based on the exchanges you mentioned, I guess you're in the US.

What services you use for paying bills since you said you don't have a bank account?

Also, what about buying a coffee at the local shop and stuff like that? usually they take only fiat. How do you convert Bitcoin to fiat without a bank?

reply

idk what they used, but there is bitrefill and other tools, along with prepaid debit cards you can buy with bitcoin that dont need a bank account

I just shared a Twitter thread, so it's not me (earnbitcoin) that is doing this 100% in bitcoin story.

But one of the Tweet replies has info related to your question:

I use the following:

@paywithmoon (virtual fiat)
@bitrefill
@thebtcco
@fold_app

Ah right, so he actually does have a bank account, just not in the traditional sense.

For example, fold will give you a debit card that is connected to a bitcoin wallet, so whenever you pay with the card, it sells bitcoin and pays with fiat. That is basically having a bank account.

give it two halving and I bet you will be very happy!

The link for this post uses a read-only front-end for Twitter, which can be easier to read for viewing a full Twitter thread. The Tweet that kicked off the thread is:

Took my entire salary in #Bitcoin this year. 100% net wage paid bi-weekly.

Started off with Coinbase direct deposit, migrated to Bitwage, Cash App, then got the company to pay me directly.
