On average, it now costs $158 per person to attend a game in 2024 — up 40% since 2014. That’s higher than the overall U.S. inflation rate of 32% in the same period.
This is too much inflation. Is watching sports considered a luxury in the US?

NFL prints money faster than the Fed.

Yeah, I can see now how actually the unimaginable paychecks are written for the players. NFL is a big business, not a sport.

I can clearly see the difference and would like to call it a mix of entertainment + money but because it's played on the field and there's win or loss, we can call it a 'Sport', no objection to that.

It's worth noting that the Raiders moved from the most inhospitable market for visitors (Oakland) to the most attractive destination (Vegas). Comparing their prices across destinations is misleading.
