We live in the city, amidst the hustle and bustle of chaos. I feel fortunate to be able to take my daughter to these places and have her experience these things: getting her feet covered in mud, walking on wet logs and stones, just listening to the calm, the water flowing downstream, the sound of hundreds of insects, feeling the warm breeze pass through the trees, seeing fish, toads, crabs, worms, squirrels, chameleons, and other types of lizards.
