If you're a certain age and grew up in the US, this recording is ingrained in your head. It was used for the opening of a very popular sitcom called Happy Days.

I'm not a huge 50s fan, but there's some good stuff. I love old acoustic blues, like this guy:

this band kind of passed me by, they came out just as i was leaving school and was much less plugged into the music scene. ( before i got plugged back in).
