Sad truth right there. The permissionless nature of Bitcoin will always exist, but the people that care about or are willing to stand up for that utility seem to be dwindling with each bull cycle.

Steam had it pre-2017, when most people found paying $50 gas fees for $10-20 purchases unacceptable.
