Yes and it seems to be more cost effective overall. All the 3D printed homes use concrete as third base material which has it’s limitations as an overall building material.

What kind of limitations are top of mind for you? I'm interested in 3D printing generally so I'm curious where the limits are.
My understanding is that the 3D printed home material is nearly grout-like. I wonder if that changes anything.

I often think 3D printing has to have near perfect conditions to work because the curing of concrete is very sensitive to the environment.
I haven’t come across a 3D printed project done in extreme climate like Alaska or middle of summer Arizona. Also I wonder how viable is it to scale from builder to builder. Or will all of these 3D printed homes only be dominated by a few players due to the high start up cost.
I’m interested in 3D printed structures as well but it mostly feels like hype when thinking about all the challenges that come with a construction project.
