Yes, the "in-private" dynamic is probably something I am not paying enough attention to. AI as the secret little voice to which you turn when you are too chicken (or too hurt) to be in the real world.

But I think Derek Thompson's worries are legit too. I actually think ai will be something we use to assist our private thoughts more than anything
