The stage is set but will people show up? No they will devolve into a barter economy nobody will trust money for a long time after fiat collapses. People will live where they work and recieve a share of what they produce instead of money. They will live "paycheck to paycheck" so nothing will change in that regard. They will just have much less freedom and lower standard of living until a new monetary system that is compatible with this extremely low standard of living emerges and gains trust and adoption which can take generations.

Note that bitcoin is high tech and we are heading into a low tech future imo.
