On about 8k, I made about 5k so far and can still make 700 on the Dolphins and 400 on the Chargers.

I think its a good strategy week 1. I think teams starters will play more in week 2. We will see.
The odds shift significantly so imo it’s only worthwhile to take something 2x or higher. Ideally a 3x payout which leaves more room for error.
I think at max starters would play a quarter. No coach wants qb1 going down in a meaningless game
Yeah you only need to hit a few big ones to do well overall. It's the opposite of my strategy betting on all the MLB games the other day where I hit 10/15 games but only ended up slightly ahead because I pick almost all favourites.
