Yes indeed. It appears Taproot assets has some competition Brining tokens to lightning. Besides gift cards and stock equities not sure why anyone would use these tokens in a legitimate way.

It's also unclear to me what utility these other tokens will have. Taproot Assets (similar concept built of lightning, different approach) seems to be going all in on stablecoins, which implies that has the highest demand. Yet, if you're using a stablecoin, I'm not sure you care too much if they're on Tron or Lightning.

is there a reason for someone like me to have a play with this? i wouldnt be doing anything nft or token-wise? Although I do want to try something if it's cool
