Powerful dogs. A guy that used to work for me got attacked by one in his neighborhood while he was hanging Christmas lights outside of his house. They couldn’t get the dog off his hand. He needed multiple surgeries to save his hand.

Damn! Sad story. I know mastiffs can be volatile, but I thought bullmastiffs were usually peaceful. Maybe I'm wrong, or maybe any individual dog can be dangerous

Who knows right. I hadn’t heard of any issues like this with them but something triggered him and you don’t know how the dog was raised.
