Probably, but maybe if he doesn't have that one terrible injury in 2012, the rest of his career is different.
Also, that Bulls team with Rose and Jimmy was awesome. Without the injury, there's a good chance they win a title, especially since Playoff Jimmy hadn't even emerged yet.
As good as Russ has been, we know his ceiling is lower than best player on a title team.

IMO, with the way Rose was playing, an injury plagued career was inevitable. The ways he attacked the basket were amazing and scary to watch at the same time. Maybe with today's conditioning/training methods, as well as load management, they might help prevent some of the injuries? Maybe not? But I still think Rose's play style was too explosive for a mere mortal body to handle.
