Humans have pondered the possibility that we are truly the only species in the universe for a number of decades. The mystery remains unsolved, ranging from odd signals to sightings that cannot be explained. Is it just imagination, or do aliens really exist?
It's a compelling thought experiment. While the absence of definitive proof makes it hard to say "yes" with certainty, the sheer scale of the cosmos does make the idea of extraterrestrial life seem statistically plausible. The challenge lies in distinguishing between genuine anomalies and phenomena that simply haven't been fully understood or explained yet
I think it’s arrogant to think that we are the only intelligent life around.
There are stars billions of years older than our sun and many have planetary system as we are discovering. Life would have started on these so long ago and evolved into all sorts of forms that we probably are not able to comprehend. There’s probably been intelligent life on earth many times in the last hundred of millions of years.
They're out there, but it's pretty much impossible for us to link up.
