If you remembered Hal Finney's (of blessed memory) prediction about Banks issuing Bitcoin-backed currencies. That is exactly what we are building at SBC, but through an indirect approach - and no, there is no shitcoin or tokens or whatever!!
First, we are building an African-based Bitcoin bank. We believe that people should own Bitcoin first if they must use Bitcoin as a currency.
And when we say bank - we are not building just another Bitcoin wallet, or a custodial solution like the exchanges. We are simply building a robust, simplistic savings/insurance machine that'd enable the lowest-earning person in Africa to save on REAL BITCOINS in absolute self-custodial mode.
