I'm back from my assmilking adventures in Europe, and one of the things I did with my friend was stay in what is allegedly England's most haunted prison (Shepton Mallet prison ).

There's a ton of youtube videos and info on it for anyone interested, but basically we stayed the night, made friends with a ghost hunter, met some other people, and then spent literally all night wandering around the place doing call outs, ouija board, and other stuff.

There were some odd moments, women being touched, cat balls going off, and temperatures dropping 5 degrees in minutes. Because there were like 6 of us, it made it less scary, but did make it more fun.

While I didn't see anything, it was a spooky place, but then again, it's a prison at night!

Any of you stackers been on any fun ghost tours or exploration?

some of my friends got into an abandoned asylum at night when we were teenagers and shit themselves. then again, an asylum is always going to be scary i think

I spent 2 nights at this hotel in Boston when my daughter was looking at colleges. I checked out the Dickens floor late at night, but didn't notice anything.

i haven't, mostly because i absolutely hate camping, but i can imagine that would also be quite scary, just based on animal noises alone

Yep I did a tour of Eastern State Penitentiary in Philly. One of the most famous haunted places in the US. It is unique for its hub and spoke architecture and Al Capone was kept there for a time.

I'm so glad you're sharing your fun, ghostly experience with us. From what I read, it was fantastic. I've never been to a historic site like this, but I have entered the haunted houses in my neighborhood.

That sounds like an incredible and spooky experience! Staying the night in a place like Shepton Mallet prison, which has such a long and dark history, must have been a unique thrill. It's often the atmosphere and the stories that make places like that so memorable, even without a direct ghostly encounter
