Cant help but read it as:
"Vector databases are wrong, let's integrate vector databases as part of another DBMS and tightly integrate it into a stored procedure / function."
But the only thing that changes with that is that its less abstract? I'm not convinced.
They aren't really an impartial voice. But conceptually it's cleaner to think of embeddings as an index attached to a domain driven database.
