Can we not call it rights? They are demanding more than rights. There is no "right" for a person to demand what words they are addressed as, nor is there a "right" for a person to use facilities meant for the opposite biological sex.
In other words, believe whatever you want about yourself but you have no right to demand that others accommodate to those beliefs.
Thanks for this reminder for me and others to actually think about what constitutes a “right” vs a privilege or something else. Irrespective of thoughts on legality, it feels like everything is being labeled a human right these days
As a side note, I actually dont care if people go trans, but I do think there should be a committee that counsels people appropriately if they have the bone structure to be trans- if you are a manly man with a Chad jawline you are just setting yourself up for a world of pain being constantly misgendered. And if you are a small girl you will be a scrawny manlet forever… wouldn’t it be better to just be gay??
