Last month's post here: #1019639
It's not quite the end of the month yet, but it is July 31st in Taiwan. Also, I don't see myself running today because of the day's schedule and the heat. So, I'll get this one posted slightly early, just before the end of the month.
When I saw the bitcoin price run earlier this month, I was anticipating a $200k bitcoin. I also started using Runstr (shout out @TheWildHustle for his great work), and joined the Season League. I ran a lot more each week in an attempt to try to get to the top spot in the Runstr Season League. Here are July's numbers.
200km ran in July, which I think is the most I've ever run in a month. I did more mileage this month than during my marathon training months, so that's something. I guess what I'm trying to say is, competition is a bitch, especially when there is a fierce competitor in the mix. It forces you to go harder and further than your competitor's limits, and not your own.
I felt I could have stacked a few more kilometers if I didn't have to leave the country on the 28th. But then, maybe 200km is a nice good round number to call it a month.
In summary, this month, I ran the bitcoin price and some more. Onward to August. Let's go!
Woah! That's some serious running. Congrats! When's the ultra marathon happening? Ahaha
