You know, I always feel a little guilty when the @nitter bot "corrects" my x.com links. But a problem is, if I use an xcancel link (like I did just below here) it doesn't get rendered. So I have to use a x.com link to get it to render, but then I always get the little Newman comment at the bottom of my posts.

also screenshots take a lot longer than posting a link (mostly because I clean my images and crop them to exclude parts of the image that aren't relevant)

Ahh makes sense. Seems like strange behavior from their end, making it difficult for people to engage with their content. Getting immediately pushed into creating an account always pisses me off, I feel like it drives away potential users.
