That's really stupid.
That's stupid because it's adding an extra wasteful step that Bitcoin itself makes obsolete.
Let's say your brother lives halfway around the world. To send him money, you send him BTC.
There! You're already done. No companies or middlemen needed.
From there, your brother can sell that BTC for local currency (using a Bitcoin exchange) or spend it directly.
There's zero need to send Bitcoin through a custodial service for a fee, or at all.
