Sales of existing homes slid 2.7% in June, according to data from the National Association of Realtors, which reported a median sales price of $435,000 for homes that same month—their highest price ever.
Month-to-month sales decreased by a whopping 8% in the Northeast, followed by a 4% decrease in the Midwest and a 2.2% slide in the South. However, home sales managed to increase in the West, jumping 1.4% in June, according to NAR.
The Western US still hasn’t been fully settled. Plus, a lot of resource development is being allowed by Trump.

I see. It's just a temporary thing in the western US. What's the general sentiment about buying houses in North Carolina if you have any idea?

I think it's considered pretty expensive right now. North Carolina's huge though, so it probably matters which part.

I remember it was about Raleigh...some countryside, Some big properties, farm houses types.

I imagine that’s one of the most expensive parts. It’s probably going to get more expensive too, because USDA just announced that they’re relocating a bunch of people there.
