Nah read it again. The paper references [this](https://likeinamirror.wordpress.com/2013/12/01/satoshi-nakamoto-is-probably-nick-szabo/) article but doesn't analyze Szabo's writing. Kinda suspicious tbh considering they know the bitgold white paper exists.
