I really felt this. The moment someone frames selfcustody as a weakness it lights a fire in me to defend and double down on it. Sure the UX is not perfect but giving up ownership for convenience just recreates the same old financial system were trying to escape. If holding your own keys is hard the answer isnot outsourcing its building better tools and habits.
