I've been giving 1k sats to anyone I meet willing to download a Lightning wallet. I've been suggesting Wallet of Satoshi, but are there better out there? I know Blue and Muun are better mobile options, but I don't want to overwhelm anyone. What do you guys do to get people on board?
There's no such thing as "best wallet". There are many wallets each one with his own features, good or bad. As I explained this post here: #70725
And also I wrote these 2 guides, that any normie should read and think.

What are your thoughts about Exodus wallet? It has lightning capabilities and I hear pretty easy integration with external hardware wallets, but I can’t say I have personal experience with it

STAY AWAY FROM IT! Is a multicrapto app = red flag warning. Closed source, dubious exporting backup.
I really do not understand how people end up using these crap wallet apps.

Thank you, I noticed the multi coin issue after reading some of your other threads. That definitely makes sense; I neglected to realize it is closed source, still learning, so thank you again

Wallet of Satoshi really would be my joice as a tech analphabet, too.

I recently found out that WoS isn't a self custodial wallet. It's a greate wallet to get started with the sat stacking apps like Carrot, THNDR Games, WowBitcoinRocks and Stacker News. It's pretty cool suttling stats back and forth with it as you learn about bitcoin and, as such, is probably a great place to start. But, again, once I realized it wasn't a self Custody wallet, it was time to find a more robust wallet. It makes sense, at some point, to move to a self custody wallet that can work on both the lightning network and "on chain".

Thanks for Your insights. I really depend on recommendations as I still use WoS and Muun
