pull down to refresh

What's up y'all I'm Jim Founder of CASCDR. I am building Pull That Up Jamie - a tool for searching, sharing, and clipping podcasts with lightning speed ⚡🎙️🤠.
Our mission is to make it as simple and easy as possible to research and discover content as well as promote and share podcasts - regardless of the size of the podcast team.
On previous versions, I only had a predetermined list of high signal Bitcoin & mainstream podcasts that I auto indexed. This upgrade allows users to index any podcast episode of their choice:
TLDR:
  • There is a free track and a pro track
  • 🆓 Free track: users can
    • 🔍 do semantic "fuzzy" search from 60+ high signal podcasts (mostly bitcoin or popular mainstream)
    • ⏱️ share a timestamped link to audio
    • ✂️ create podcast clips
    • 🌐 search the web with LLM summaries (perplexity-like experience)
    • 📣 share to social media
    • 🆕 Try Jamie on arbitrary podcast episodes (transcribe + index for search): link
  • 💼 The Jamie Pro track:
    • ✅ all free tier entitlements
    • 🤖 auto transcribes and indexes newly dropped pods for search
    • 🎯 Jamie Pro Agent creates curated clips based on user prefs
    • 🔁 Cross post both Jamie clips AND arbitrary media to Twitter & Nostr (the TFTC team are heavy users)
That's the high level. I'd like to dig more into some details and visuals from the app.

1 NEW this release: Add a New Podcast on Demand

Previously I just curated a list of about 60 podcasts. Now we have the Try Jamie On Demand feature which lets you, transcribe, index, search share and clip any podcast episode of your choice without making an account.
Jamie allows you to explore spoken word conversations using pretty vague search queries.
Jamie uses a technique called embeddings which is the basis for a lot of LLMs/language focused AI. It is a technique for mathematically representing language and it allows you to ask the same question in different ways but generally get a similar result.
Applied in the use case of podcasts it is quite useful. When you're trying to recall an insightful or funny moment from a podcast it's rare that you'll have the exact keyword/keyword combination. But if you can vibe search with vague language, finding that moment is a lot easier.
I frequently find that I discover funny or insightful content I'd like to share with a friend. But then I reach the dilemma: how can I get them to invest 1hr+?
Jamie fixes this with timestamped links. I just search for the piece I'm looking for and I get a timestamped link to drop my friend at the exact moment of insight/hilarity.

4 Create Shareable Video Clips

Using Jamie search you can find moments you're looking for and create a video clip with subtitles and an audio waveform:
