I am impressed by the speed at which the New Zealand Bitcoin community is growing and connecting. In just a few months we have gone from almost nothing happening on the ground to regular meetups, a thriving telegram group chat, a new podcast for discussing ideas, and a few other initiatives.

The ability to network in real life has been a game changer and we got some more things in the pipeline.

More and more I see the ethos of Bitcoin coming through in the way we do things, in particular "proof of work" has become a guiding principle for getting stuff done and putting in the effort to make meetups and events happen.
