Call me a cynic, but most folks on an average family dinner table do not have the iq or attention span of remembering more than three sentences at a time.

Ergo, you will not be able to do justice to the topic in a dinnertable. If you give a teaser that someone thinks he can benefit from, he can take the discussion offline to explore in depth later. But chances are really slim.

Also, i have seen people trying to sell shit (insurance, old car or whatever) on dinner table and it's disgusting. If you push too hard trying to sell bitcoin, then people will be ready to assume somehow it will personally benefit you or you have a cut in it in some form.

And finally, you know people have been kidnapped for private keys, right? No matter how small is your stack, some people will immediately assume you got in very early and a multimillionaire now. Do you want to paint a target on yourself? I am not saying your family member will kidnap you, but some people blabber their mouths off, to friends and neighbours. So be careful before you decide to act like some OG bitcoin guru.

That is why I just stay humble, stack sats and learn the technology. I don't go around evangelising it. Bitcoin is far past the stage where it needs any marketing.
