Here's an idea from the edge.....

What's your view on tipping?

Now read this and tell me if it changes your view?

Rich people tip going in Poor people tip going out, One is investment One is charity.
Flashy guys argue about cover charge, real money walks straight through no questions asked.
Tip the bartender before ordering, never wait for a drink again.
Tip the valet before parking, they'll watch car like hawks.
Tip the maître D before dining, tables appear from nowhere.
Tip the hotel/airport receptionist before checking in, upgrades you never requested.
personally, i like leaving a tip, if im receiving a service. however, i dont like being asked by pos terminals to leave one. it feels kitchy. and if im ordering takeout then i won't leave a tip; im not sure where the precedent came from that baristas handing me a coffee at the drive thru deserve a tip, but it feels a bit ridiculous.

I always tip. It’s better to give than receive. I always put myself in their shoes and I think it would suck if I didn’t get tipped so I should tip

People who like the tipping culture must have never worked for tips. It hurts employees. It allows employers to pay below the minimum wage and then they split the tips anyways. And even if they don't do that, your income as an employee is less predictable. Stupid idea.
