Oh god, that demo video threw off my feng shui. Absolute chaos and clutter. Is there really a market for this app?
Edit: Sorry this is so blunt, but those are my honest initial impressions. Granted, I'm not a Mac user, and I use 2 monitors, so I'm probably not understanding the motivation behind the project.
Sure thanks for honest feedback, If u see this what about it specifically is clutter?
The motivation is there’s a large amount of people who only use one screen on a MacBook, usually you can do things like snap apps to the side of the screen, three finger swipe between desktops like at fullscreen… and with podcasts so ubiquitous or people enjoying like informational YouTube videos on the side like white noise to kind of focus usually that YouTube video will be competing for screen real estate on the laptop if you want to follow along with something to help you get in the zone instead of just pure silence while working…
Please feel free to share any feedback I don’t see anything currently to change with clutter as that’s what it’s meant to do is stay on top of other windows so you can still see it and not have to have it minimized, I personally like to see podcast hosts faces while they talk if I don’t have another monitor because I think a lot is conveyed by emotion in facial features, sometimes other explainer videos with infographics, or like if you’re watching standup comedy you can also glance at it…
Most ppl I know usually have a YouTube up on their second monitor on windows too but I think I’ll release a version on Windows eventually with a different design such as AI synopsis or other time saving features for creators…

I gotta work on giving constructive criticism. I think the demo video overwhelmed me with details. There were layers of windows each with their own text and information and context, along with the blast of unfamiliar voices from the podcast with narcissistic sentiment which I later realized might have been a ironic joke, along with the app's control sliders which felt out of place/asymmetric, along with the descriptive text on the page outside of the video which I was still trying to comprehend.

i can look to maybe use a different video, ill double check auto play settings... allinpod is currently a large podcast, ill check it again i didn't find it to be narcisstic but more uplifting but i can see how that's subjective. Apple already flagged the demo of the app so the Mac Store version likely will not have the video... ty for feedback... I'm not sure where else to put the sliders on the window to control, im working on hiding different elements when the video is just playing and not hovered over, i want to give some control to the user when the hover over it... ill try to find a quicker way maybe when a Mac release to try to convey that it floats above your windows so you can watch youtube easily on one screen while doing other things... thanks!
