the fact people still think you have to wait 10 minutes to buy a cup of coffee shows how early we are. Even Musk says Bitcoin isn't scaleable for twitter. Meanwhile with lightning there are apps that let you stream payments and there is a decent amount of activity here. Obviously it isn't at the scale of twitter but if twitter had their own lightning node (centralized I know) then you should be able to transfer at the speed of data.

The irony that you used Bitcoin lightning to login to this site only to still ignore that Bitcoin lightning is instant final settlement in BTC.
