This is what llama 3.1 does:

>>> Translate this to Tagalog: "You need a better prompt (or model). The current output makes you sound like a bot."

"Kailangan mo ng mas magandang prompt (o modelo). Ang kasalukuyang output ay nagpapakita sa iyo na parang isang bot."

So I think it's also a model problem. No added emojis or other crap. Whether the translation is proper is up to you to judge.
