  • One meal day: Pesto with basil from the garden and organic pine nuts from Costco, but also cake
  • About 10k barefoot* steps, but not many of them were out in the Sun
  • Cold shower
  • Good sleep

All in all, pretty good. I am feeling like I need to add something to the checklist.

How did you all do today?

You just ate pesto? You didn’t put it on anything?

reply

That probably is something I would do, but no. It was on organic bowtie pasta, also from Costco.

Pesto is also awesome on pizza.

I had the same question

I guess I thought pasta was implied.

Costco is great. We only go about once a month but buy a crap ton of stuff every time we go.

How about adding an exercise to your list? A cardio vascular exercise or a resistance training exercise or both? Something to work either the heart muscles or the body muscles.

I'm sure I will add some sort of training activity, once I figure out what that should be. For now, I'm trying to find productive physical activities to provide my exercise. I'll probably be doing some landscaping today, for instance.

That sounds like a solid and balanced day! The homemade pesto and organic touch are impressive and hey, a little cake makes it human. Walking barefoot adds a nice grounding effect, even if it wasn’t under the sun. Maybe the “something” missing is a moment of intentional reflection or creativity? Curious to hear what you’ll add next!
