pull down to refresh

4 years ago we visited village Špania Dolina.
The village is situated 11 km to the north from Bnaska Bystrica, not far from Stare Hory, on the borderline of the Low Tatras and the Great Fatra, in 728 m above sea level. It is an ancient mining village rich with history, going back in time to 2000 – 1700 B.C. sources
We did hike around all day and we did enjoy that very much.
We started in the "main square" :-) and walked through the small streets between the small houses.
we came to the old copper mine
then we got to the heap
where we had nice view over village
after little rest we continued to ski center Šachtičky
we have seen nice old houses on way back
on the way home we drove through the town of Banská bystrica. It was a long summer day, so we stopped there for a while and went up to the clock tower
