This is one of the most beautiful and natural life portraits I have read in years. I’m truly truly sorry for your loss. Real friends are irreplaceable. In some ways, I saw bits of myself in your old friend: stubborn principles, the chaos and not only. Reading this felt like attending a funeral from afar, like we were all silent guests paying respects to someone we never met but somehow knew.
