I think he is a net positive for humanity. He pushes outlandish ideas and tries to progress forward

That's what the majority of us believe or know and correct from his businessman image. I meant how Politics will unfold/prove what he's actually behind.
Trump is also a businessman and he's using politics for personal gains, Elon may also be the one, just saying.

His ego is huge so I fully expect some of the personal things he wants will be forced upon the populace but this has been happening since the end of WWII! America forces war and the cost of war on all of us.
If Elon has all the power maybe military spending would actually be put in check
