I stumbled upon this tweet and promptly tried it out
I don't want to share the exact answer because it extrapolated a lot of thing correctly about me (that I have NEVER shared) in a very frightening sense. I did not know my writing style, the topics I'm interested in, when I ask for long/short answers reveal that much. There seems to be a lot of information that is already available by bucketing people into cohorts.
I did ask follow up questions that were more specific. Where it thinks I stand politically, what it thinks where I grew up, which cultural cohort I belong to ... It mostly got them wrong. What a relief.
How much information did you unconsciously and indirectly give to chatbots?
Well, I just tested this out. It is creepy as hell. From what I've read briefly of it's response, it feels like it knows more than I know about me. I will now use the temporary chat option for anything related directly to myself. Our privacy is not existing anymore.
