It was the most likely outcome and we will get it. Alcaraz beat Fritz in 4 sets and Sinner did the same with Djokovic in 3 straight sets.
The first semifinal, between Fritz and Alcaraz, was a serving exhibition. Both tennis players were serving incredibly well and not many points were long rallies. Small mistakes decide who won the games and there was not a big difference between them. Finally, Alcaraz was slightly better and managed to go through to the final.
Then, moving to Sinner vs Djokovic semifinal, the Italian won it in three straight sets but it was clear from the beginning that Djokovic was not fit enough to fight long points. He was fighting as the champion he is, but the slip on Wednesday's match probably injured him. He did ask for some medical help after the second set, which seemed to help him at the beginning of the third. He was leading 3-0, but the Italian came back and won 5 straight games. Later on, he only needed to keep his service to win the match.
On aggregate, up to 6 stackers will have the chance to win the pool on Sunday .
