China is a Communist_State-driven Capitalist country with a great history of social-cultural cohesion by its people, who are of the same race (mostly).
What it's doing cannot be copied by the US at the same speed because the US is a multi-racial Capitalist state driven by dispute resolution narratives both at home and overseas.
The US can keep at being the arbiter of justice, which means it will have to wait for China and others to build then it can step in if something ain't right. It cannot bulldoze policy like a Communist State can.
P.S. : The USA's dispute resolution policies overseas are tainted by Fiat and now it is more of a bully than a friend who can show the world the way of peace in diversity.
Only Bitcoin can bring them back from the warring path it is on (which path is even affecting them at home).

Yeah, centralized systems can do things quickly for sure. It's a bit like the other blockchains that are more centralized. Solana is fast but is more likely to fail. Unfortunately, the US is much less decentralized than when it started.

Yeah, Big Fiat has captured American democracy, and with it, the better nature of global economic activity. Now things are a pretty mess and nobody knows who exactly to blame. Fiat is Big Brother. Not a person in particular, but controlling the narrative nonetheless. Built up by systematically following pretty shitty systems of economic thought e.g. Keynesian economics.
