why did you pick that form factor over a watch or some other wearable device?
Insignia is probably going to be the biggest hardware challenge, fitting our tech into a ~5mm wide 2.5mm deep metal band is going to be a lot of work. If we get it working at that form factor, it should be relatively easy to offer the same functionality in other form factors.
As for Watch: We can likely integrate into Apple Pay & competitors. Apple makes a far better watch than we’ll ever be able to make and have perfected it over the years. We’d rather integrate than build a new one. But other form factors are possible and will be likely depending on how much attention there is.
As for tech specs, Insignia has no battery. It’s powered by NFC, integrates a OLED display with a capacitive sensor for user confirmation. it uses a one round communication with the reader acting as an authorisation device
