I first heard about Bitcoin in 2017, but didn’t take it seriously. In Cuba, I got into some pyramid schemes using BTC without really understanding it. A coworker even mined BTC on office servers. I tried CryptoTab, lost everything, and did random Telegram tasks for Dogecoin—got over 3,000 DOGE, and lost that too. Then Elon tweeted, DOGE hit 70 cents… I just laughed to keep from crying.

Later, I found Pionex and set up a trading bot. It’s still running after almost 3 years, but I wasn’t fully committed.

Everything changed when my second child was born. Suddenly, Bitcoin wasn’t just an experiment. It became a responsibility—and a form of hope.
