First thing, being creative doesn't mean repeat what others says. Majority of people think creativity is to watch tutorials and resay what was spoken. Creativity is have your own method to let people understand you.

You need to understand well the subject and then try to explain by your own manner to the other part, without try to resay what was said in tutorial.

I agree, and it also depends on our EQ to comprehend who we have in front and what they can and cannot understand. What's then your strategy to explain complex concepts?

First of all, you are not obliged to explain everything on one topic or a thread this is a common mistake that people do, if you make a video of 3 hours including everything or a long text, then people get bored, but if you split 3 hours to 30 videos of 180/30=6 minutes each one or one thousand line article to 50 articles of 20 lines each then people get motivated with the story. Also avoid technical terms as you understand them but there is someone how read subject for first time and doesn't has any idea. A concrete example if you read a linkedin course for 3 hours you don't understand anything, but if you read one chapter answer the quiz and be back tomorrow to next chapter, the level of understand will be high.
