That gray-to-black fade when the page loads is killing my eyes!

Shouldn’t this animation be off if we’ve got 'disable lightning animations' turned on? cc/

Ohh, mhh, it's not implemented that way. We only check the setting on zap, but the canvas to render the fireworks is still there. I think that's causing this.

We will remove the fireworks today or tomorrow.
