Had an upset stomach last night mid sleep. The pain woke me up at around 4am and had to run to the bathroom. Felt very bad even after the bathroom break, but pulled myself back into bed after drinking a couple glasses of warm water. Decided to skip my Sunday morning run and slept-in instead. Stomach felt weak throughout the day, but improved as the day went on. Took a long nap in the afternoon for some extra rest. Felt good enough at night time to go for my run, but decided to take it easy and only ran 8km as the stomach still felt a slight discomfort. Decided to not take the cold shower tonight, as I don't want to introduce even more stress to my body. No cheesecake and no alcohol tonight (even though tonight is my drinking night). Instead, I'm going to bed early to make sure I'm ready for a full day of work tomorrow. Getting sick while wife is not here sucks. Good thing it's nothing major and probably just a mild case of food poisoning? (Yes, last night's chicken thighs were slightly undercooked, but I ate them anyways...)

- 8km run at average pace of 5:25/km
