pull down to refresh

My daughter has found the kid's joke book she got last Christmas and has been entertaining us with her comedic stylings for the past few days.
To be honest, some of the jokes are getting a little old as she has a tendency to tell her favourites over and over but she is having a lot of fun with it. The best part is when she starts laughing before telling the joke.
For your reading pleasure, here are some of jokes she has learned:
What did the bus driver say to the frog? Hop on!
What is a duck's favourite snack? Quackers
Why did 6 run away? Because 7 ate 9
What's the difference between a bird and a fly? A bird can fly but a fly can't bird

It's always great when kids uncover books on their own. They tend to improvise to draw attention based on what they read, understand and feels funny from the book. I also have two good ones. (literally laughing as an adult before saying these)
What do you call cheese that isn’t yours? Nacho cheese
What did one wall say to the other wall? I’ll meet you at the corner
The bird & fly one is good. Stay young at heart. It helps.

Interestingly, my son recently had to say a tongue twister at school one week!! And the next week, a joke!! I taught him a classic here in Latin America, which is...
What did one noodle (spaghetti) say to another noodle??? My body craves sauce
And without a doubt it's now his favorite joke and he won't forget it 😅
reply
Haha. I am sure he loves telling that joke.

And the point is exactly that she (your daughter) has a good time with it! So it perfectly suits the purpose ;)

Our daughter loves "telling jokes", but her understanding of what a joke is is basically a weird question followed by a loud answer.
reply
Haha. Our daughter definitely went through a phase where she would make up jokes that didn't make any sense but were delivered with gusto.

I like the bird fly joke
reply
Yeah that one is good.
