Oh, no! Boring Customs authorities! You should definitely contact your carrier first, and then customs. They will probably let it go if you present yourself there IRL and do some kind f KYC.
Consider is just bored people that seeing something unusual finally got something exiting to do during their work day. Don't blame them... they are just doing their job!

Ideally not, is just question to put some time dealing with customs, responding of what they ask and bring the parcel home.
Also take the opportunity to learn how customs work, because ideally you'll be dealing with them more in the future when you'll receive more envelops
